Wes Anderson Wins the Silver Bear Award for Stop Motion Animation Movie Isle of Dogs1

Animation Movie : The 2018 International Berlin Film Festival Commenced on 15th Feb and ended on 25th Feb. Two animation entries won titles in the prestigious Berlin Film Festivals which was held recently. Wes Anderson, director of Isle of Dogs has won the 'Best Director' Award at the Berlin Film Festival. Another coincidence, the stop motion movie 'Isle of Dogs' was shown at the opening ceremony in the history of Berlin Film Festival. It's a milestone achievement for the animation movies. Wes Anderson was unavailable to collect the award, so one of the voice characters - Bill Murray picked up the award and this is what he had to say,"I never thought I’d go to work as a dog and come home with a bear. I’m glad I was deputized to watch the house here in case anything like this broke out… I’d like to be one more person from America to say ‘Ich bin ein Berliner Hund'(I am a Berlin Dog)".

Reka Bucsi won the title,'Audi Short Film Award' for her animation film ,'Solar Walk'. She received $24644 (20,000 Euro) which is one of the highest cash prizes awarded for short film animations.
