Capture 360 degree Virtual Reality Photos by Cardboard Photography App

Google has launched a new application for iOS users called 'Cardboard Camera' which allows you to create 3D,360 degree photos using your mobile device's camera. It can work with your availabe mobile phone.The Cardboard Camera app simply taps into the camera of the iPhone and iPad to take convincing virtual reality photos. With the introduction of cardboard camera app google has made it possible for the users to take beautiful VR photos and share them with friends and family.

Instead of using expensive camera technology, the cardboard camera app simply taps into the camera of the iPhone and iPad to take convincing virtual reality photos. After taking the image with the app , it can be uploaded and viewed by others. The uploaded images are stored on Google's servers and can be viewed via the Cardboard Camera app. Furthermore, a link can then be generated to share with friends and family on social media.

The app can also capture all those special moments by recording sound while taking an image. When it comes down to looking around on the image, the user is required to use their fingers or hook up the iPhone to Google Cardboard and do it from a more natural point of view. It’s not true 3D, however, as you won’t be able to move around within that environment, but it’s still a big step up from a flat, static image. This App is available for iOS and Android.
