Merylebone Cricket Club, world's active cricket club founded in 1787 is till today considered as the sole authority of cricket around the world. MCC launched the MCC cricket Photographer of the Year in 2010 to promote cricket in all levels. In 2016 the contest had 450 entries from photographers across nations.
