Awesome Winning Images of 2018 Sony World Photography Awards Revealed

The World Photo Organisation has revealed the winners of Overall winners of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards after the announcement of the shortlisted and Open Category and National Award winners earlier. The contest consist of the prestigious Photographer of the Year, Open Photographer of the Year, Youth Photographer of the Year, and the Student Photographer of the Year and it also includes 10 winners of the Professional categories. The overall winner of 2018 Sony World Photography Award is won by British photographer Alys Tomlinson for his 'Ex-Vota' project. Tomlinson has been chosen from 10 professional category winners, where her photos in discovery category fetched her the title along with $25,000 worth prize money.

The contest covers images in varies styles from portraiture to wonderful landscapes which proves stunning and unique. The Open Photographer of the year is awarded to Vaselin Atanasov for his 'Early Autumn' photograph. Youth Photographer of the year is won by 16 year old Megan Johnson for her 'Image' and Student Photographer of the Year Samuel Bolduc for the series 'the burden'. The Winners were announced in the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Somerset House happening from April 20th to May 6 2018.
