Landscape Photography : Scotland is nature's gift with its breathtaking wild marshlands shrouded in morning mist to rugged mountain peaks and sparkling lochs. There is wide range of beautiful sites to entertain a photographer and gives a jaw-dropping experience to the viewers. The total wonderful landscape is a feast to the photographers eyes and that is proved as we see the winning images of the Scottish photographer of the year. Grimsby-born photographer Paul Webster has been announced as this year's winner of the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Award.Webster is based in Cromdaleand and has won the prize with a portfolio of three photographs shot in the mountain ranges of the Lochaber Geopark and Glen Affric. The photograph called Dreams and Nightmares, an image of light breaking through to light up Aonach Eagach whilst two ravens circled overhead won him the honour. This year's competition included a new category called Scottish weather award which was judged by BBC Scotland weather presenter and news anchor, Anne Lundon.
