ON1 Photo RAW new version released to take on Adobe's Lightroom

The beta version of the editing software was released last month and now the company has launched the new version which is viable to compete with Adobe's lightroom. The latest version of Photo RAW 2018 has its updates based on the direct result of community input. The new HDR function in the update merges a bracket of photos for increased dynamic range and has a raw processing engine. Combining of multiple photos into a single panoramic image is made possible with the pano stitching option. Background masking by selecting particular image areas is enabled through new masking tools. The ON1 update has added support for the Nikon D850, Olympus EM-10 III, Panasonic DMC-G85, preliminary support for Sony a7R III, and a range of new lenses.
