Flow Photography Festival is in the first year and the inaugration will happen in September 2017. The Flow Photofest celebrates the work of photographers from Scotland, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Flow Photofest has opned on September 2nd in Inverness and exhibitions will be displayed in more than nine venues throughout Scotland. The highlight of the photography festival is the photograph taken of a north man by Ragnar Axelsson, who has been travelling extensively through the artic to find the people from north. Another photographer Sigga Ella will be exhibiting 21 portraits of people who have Down's Syndrome. The Theme of 2017 Flow Photofest is 'People and Place'. An ‘Open’ Flow competition will take place inviting photographers to submit work based on the festival theme. The best photographs will be exhibited in Inverness Museum and Art Gallery during the Festival. This unique Festival will extend to locations throughout the Highlands & Islands including premier venues such as An Lanntair in Stornoway and the Sawyer Gallery at Inverewe House.
