Best 2018 Manga Animation movies - Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize nominees announced1

Manga animation movies and art is quite popular in Japan. In the 22nd Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize contest ten nominees have been selected for this year. For eligibility, the manga should have been compiled and published in a book last year(2017. . The Tezuka Osamu Culture Prize was created in 1997 by the Asahi Shimbun in order to contribute to the sound development of manga culture by continuing the ambition of Osamu Tezuka. Golden Kamuy has received several appreciations and it has been nominated three times in a row. The winners will be notified in the April edition of the Asahi Shimbun and the awards ceremony will be held in June 7th at Tokyo.

The Manga Animation Nominees selected by Asahi Shimbun paper are:

3. At the Mountains of Madness by Gou Tanabe

This manga animation is adapted from the famous horror story by H.P. Lovecraft.
