10th Annual Street Painting Festival - New York on 7 July 2017
It's going to be a great fun-filled weekend on July 7th till 9th 2017. The awards and closing ceremony will be held at 3:45pm on Sunday. Elmira Street Painting Festival is a family fun festival hosted by Elmira Downtown. It was started in uly 2008 to bring the local artists together and showcase their talents. During this Street painting festival, the pavements are used as the canvas and paintings are done with only chalk. You can see many styles ranging from the Renaissance classicism to Cubism, Pop Art to their own creative style. These beautiful pieces are artwork are kept for public display, till the rains wash them away. Apart from the streetart, musical entertainment is also provided, to bring in the festive mood.
