Dr Seuss' The Lorax Trailer

Dr Seuss' The Lorax Trailer

Check out the first ever trailer for Dr. Seuss' preservationist story, The Lorax. Already you can see how the movie has taken a lot of liberties with the original story, but one thing remains intact — The Lorax himself, who is voiced by Danny DeVito. He speaks for the trees!

If you're not familiar with the original here's the general rundown the little boy you see in the trailer meets the Once-ler (the lanky fellow with green gloves voiced by Ed Helms) who needs to chop down a whole forest of trees to make and peddle his invention, the theed! The Lorax, who speaks for the trees, clearly doesn't want this to happen. There are no teen love connections in the original, but clearly this has been added to flesh out the story past 30 minutes.
