Captivating Finalists Images of 15th Smithsonian Photo Contest 2017 Announced
Smithsonian magazine has announced the finalists of its 15th Annual Photo Competition. The contest gains popularity year after year and the quality of entries are amazing from where the 60 finalists from portraits to landscapes are chosen. There were 48,000 submissions for the 15th Annual contest from across 155 countries of the world. The 6 categories include Travel, Altered Images, Mobile, Natural World, People and The American Experience. The Grand Prize winner will receive $2500 and each of the six category winners will receive $500. The Reader's Choice winner also would receive $500. Voting for Reader's Choice winner is still open and can be voted till March 26th 2018. The voting is restricted to one vote per day.
The Grand Winner and the Reader's Choice Winner will be announced on March 27th 2018.
