On Paper - International Printmaking Award 2018 open for entries till January 5 2018

Printing Design Contest: On Paper is an art community from Barcelona. They encourage the art of printmaking, printing designs and conduct annual contests to promote and develop connections between printmakers around the world.

Artists can submit one piece of work on a paper size of 300mm x 400mm (30cm x 40cm) or the equivalent 11x17in. The print size can be anything within the size of the paper. The work should be made using traditional printmaking techniques like:

• Screenprinting
• Lithography
• Etching
• Collagraph
• Monotype
• Woodcut
• Photopolymer
• etc.

Digital prints - designs printed from a printer is not accepted. The entry fee is $30 and is open for all participants around the world.

Prize:

First Place Winner receives: $1170
Second Place Winner receives: $350

The Awagami Factory sponsors The Awagami Paper Award – 100 sheets of Awagami editioning paper worth 500 Euro. The shortlisted artists for the On Paper Award 2018 will be exhibited in the Spike Print Studio at Spike Island, Bristol (UK) in summer 2018.
