Winners Declared for the 2017 Sienna International Photography Awards

Sienna International Photo Awards has become quite popular amongst photographers and judges due to the grandiosity in the photo clicks. Even Though it's in the third year, this year more than 50,000 photos were submitted from 161 countries. Beautiful landscapes, vibrant night life, stunning sea creatures were some of the entries. 2017 SIPA award goes to Randy Olson for his stunning picture of cranes with a backdrop of lightning. According to Randy Olson,"There was a ton of lightning right behind the birds. I put the camera on a tripod and just started pumping the shutter, making sequential 30-second exposures. This shot happened to capture the lightning and all the birds in motion". The award winning picture was taken near Wood river, Nebraska. This year's categories were Storytelling, Fragile Ice, Animals in Their Environment, and Fascinating Faces and Characters.
