Travel Photography : National Geographic has called for entries for its 2017 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the year award. Photographers all over the world are eligible to send their captivating images related to the themes. The inspiring moments captured while travelling and the peculiar features of the places are to be sent. Photographs must have been taken within two years before the date of entry and may not previously have won an award in any National Geographic photo contests. There is no limit on the number of entries per person. Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. DEADLINE : June 30 2017
ENTRY FEE : 15 USD per entry.
The Grand Prize Winner will be named the 2017 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year and will have a chance to go on an extraordinary 10-day journey for two in the Galápagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions.
Moreover, each category will feature three winners:
• First Prize: 2,500 USD
• Second Prize: 750 USD and a signed National Geographic book
• Third Prize: 500 USD
All winners will also receive a one-year subscription to National Geographic Traveler magazine.
