The IMS photo contest founded in 2009 acts as a side event of the International Mountain summit. For the past six years the contest has got a prestigious place in mountain photography throughout the world. Mountains has always been a natural provocation of emotions in humans with their dimensions and shapes. The mountain photographer of the year award was opened to all amateurs and professionals who has an eternal love for nature and mountains. The creativity are seen in heights with each of the six category of photographs excelling with unique moments. The total prize money is € 20,600.
