The world's most comprehensive and independent visual identity competition is celebrating its 7th year of International Visual Identity Awards. This is an ideal platform for a branding agency, corporate, freelancer in logo design or graphic design student who is looking to showcase their recent branding work.
The awards have a steadfast dedication towards officially recognizing and honoring the world's best visual identity design. They act as a forum to engender debate on an international scale around the importance of visual identity and its place in everyone’s lives.
Eligibility
The competition accepts entries from clients, agency teams, freelance designers and students from any country worldwide. Students undergoing full-time education are advised submit their work into the student category.
Deadlines
The Award committee has introduced rolling deadlines for the year of 2020. The entry fee prices rise every two months until the final deadline of October 31, 2020. The earlier you enter, the less you pay.
Winners will be announced by the end of 2020.
Entry Fee
March/April standard: £70 per entry + UK VAT
March/April student: £50 per entry + UK VAT
The payments are accepted only through PayPal.
Categories for Submission
The International Visual Identity Award accepts entries under 21 categories. Each entry is assessed against submissions in its own category. For example, healthcare entries will be up against other healthcare entries. There is a higher chance of winning, since the competition is category-wise.
The applicants are recommended to choose the most appropriate category for their design work. The organizers reserve the right to re-categorize the work should they feel it to be necessary.

Guidelines for Submission
Eligible entries must have been launched between 1st January 2019 and the closing date of 31st October 2020.
Entries are permitted from all countries worldwide.
All entries must be submitted online only through the IVIA website.
Entries are accepted with a completed online form and processed payment only. Entry fees should be paid in UK Sterling and are not refundable in any circumstances. One form per entry.
Entries must not just include a logo but also examples of its application across different items as part of a brand's visual identity system.
Concept or speculative work is unacceptable, with the exception of the student category. Student entries stand valid only if the applicant is registered as a full-time student in a recognized educational institution at the time of entry, or has graduated in the same year as that in which the competition takes place.
The organizers reserve the right and are at their sole discretion, to remove any entry from the competition that they deem to be plagiarized, ethically suspect or offensive and no correspondence will be entered into.
The organizers reserve the right to ask for evidence of the publications of the items submitted into the competition.
Rewards
Winners and runners-up from all categories will be rewarded with certificate and a badge of Visual Identity Awards to display on their marketing materials.
A press release will be circulated to all the major marketing and design media on a global scale.
