Andreu World International Design Contest 2017 calls for entries Nov 24 1
Andreu World has called for entries for its 17th International Design contest. The contest was started in 2000 and has been successful for past 16 years showcasing innovative and exceptional seating and table design solutions. This acts as the launching pad for the budding artist to showcase their exclusive designs to the International audience. The designs should be sustainable with possible innovative features related to design, quality, technology, production processes, etc.
Seating: The main material used shall be Beech wood, Oak wood or Walnut. Chairs may be upholstered to a greater or lesser extent, if considered appropriate and veneered board or plywood.
Tables: The main material used shall be Beech wood, Oak wood or Walnut. Tables may be veneered board or plywood.
Eligibility
Open worldwide both to design students and to professionals, without age limit.
Prize :
First and second prizes of 3000 Euro (approx. 3,200 USD) and 1000 Euro (approx. 1,060 USD) respectively, will be awarded by a jury composed of professionals from different sectors: Design, Industry, Media and other fields related to creative activities. The awards ceremony will be held on December 2017.
