Bird Photography: In recent years, many new contests for bird photography have cropped up all over the internet. What's more, the winners received cash rewards and sometimes even expensive camera equipments and sponsorships. It's a great way to keep the young photographers busy and leaves them more focused. Nature Photographers Ltd and British Trust for Ornithology had started a bird photography contest three years ago and 2017 Bird Photography Award was felicitated to Alejandro Prieto Rojas for his stunning photo (below) of flamingos feeding their offspring at Río Lagartos in Mexico. Alejandro won himself the top prize of £5,000 which is equivalent to $6,766 and winners from other categories claimed a pair of Swarovski binoculars each. The stake was set high for these bird photographers and it was extremely difficult to zero in on the best photographer of the year.
