His main inspiration is from potloi, the cylindrical skirt of brides and dancers of Manipur. The creative detailing of his works particularly hair,eyes and skin textures make his work unique. Traditional touch of the land is seen through the chandon on the nose and tanakha on the cheeks. The natural blush on the cheeks with perfect skin tones makes it look real bringing a native tough to the paintings.
