Ben's wooden sculpture looks like a complex structure but they evolve from simple and delicate processes. The marvellous array of grids that stretch to form the wooden sculpture looks magnificent when it hangs around. Ben plays with materials and tries to configure the shape of his imagination and hence ensures it is all organic and not preconceived shape. The Cotient World Photography Award has recently announced the winners of its 2020 competition, including a brilliantly surreal piece of portrait photography from Nimai Chandra Ghosh that grabbed the top prize of £1,000. The Cotient World Photography Award is free to enter and open to anyone around the world. Nimai Chandra Ghosh topped the winners list with his surreal portrait of a boy floating in water. Meanwhile, second place went to Yevhan Samuchenko for his beautiful black and photo (below) captioned ‘Childhood Dreams'.

The non-profit Sanctuary Nature Foundation, which publishes wildlife and photography magazine Sanctuary Asia, presented the Sanctuary Wildlife Photography Awards at a virtual ceremony on Saturday. The first prize went to photographer Pratik Uday Pradhan for capturing a crane fly on a thin twig in Matheran, a hill station near Mumbai. Photographers Sitaram Dinkar Raul and Mousam Ray shared the second prize.
