The Ultimatum of Klaatu

Hello everyone, I just wanted to show you my last digital painting...this is a tribute to a very old movie, but one of the best science fiction films of all time (and one of my favourite ones too). I´m talking about "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951). Few years before this movie, the modern age of the UFOs (1947) began, so I guess, at that time this film could be absolute amazing and disturbing, the story of an extraterrestrial (even messianic) called Klatu and his giant robot Gort, that comes to the Earth to bring us a message of peace and an ultimatum too! I wanted to represent the final scene of the movie when Klaatu (Michael Rennie) gives his warning speech.Painter. 2011 I hope you like this tribute to such iconic movie... Best Regards
