Can you see any difference? Nasa can't take pictures with raised boundaries, currently they can take flat images of the earth as shown above. The graphically rendered earth photos by Anton Balazh was not an easy task. He had to work several years to understand the boundaries and he also drew inspiration from real-time photos from the NASA website. He used bathymetry data to splice the ocean floors and sea level data for creating coastlines. He also used the typography data from NASA for raising the mountainous regions, green for forest and so on. Did you know that NASA images for mountainous regions is very flat. Even though it's a computer rendered earth photo, they still mesmerize us. Hope you enjoy them too.
