International Earth Photography Contest - entries 18 June 2018

Photography Contest : It's time to embrace our beautiful earth and enjoy the bountiful nature it provides us. It's the 1st edition of the Earth Photo contest and there are four themes to choose from:

Photographers are allowed to submit upto 10 of their best photos or films. According to Earth Photo, " is an innovative new competition and exhibition developed jointly by Forestry Commission England and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) which reflects the organisations’ common interest in enabling a better understanding of the world around us through the complementary disciplines of the Environment and Geography". The contest is open to students, emerging/ professional, international/local photographers with no age limits. The Earth Photo aims at identifying the real story behind the photography and encouraging conversations about the subjects in matter. The photographs should be appropriate for all age kinds, with beautiful creativity. The photos and films to be submitted should have been completed before January 2016. There is an entry fee of $28. The juries will be judging based on the following factors: Impact, Creativity, Originality, Composition, Relevance and Technical Quality. The selected photographers will be intimated through email by 29 June 2018.

The selected photos will be put up for a free exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society, London from July to September 2018. The winneres will be announced during the exhibition.
