ZEISS Photography Award Open for Entries - 7 Feb 2017

The Second edition of the ZEISS Photography awards "Seeing Beyond" is open for entries with the theme 'Meaningful Places'. Teaming up with World Photography Organisation Zeiss has launched a new competition which gives an opportunity for the photographers to establish their talents to reputed jury and international audience. In addition to the international exposure the winners also has a chance to get camera lenses with a total value of 15,000 euro. The Zeiss Photography Award 2016 runs in parallel to the Sony World Photography Awards, the world’s biggest photography competition. Both contests are organised by the World Photography Organisation (WPO).

Award will be judged by following industry experts:

Claire Richardson, Picture Editor, Lonely Planet Traveller
Jürgen Schadeberg Dr.(h.c.) , Photographer
Sarah Toplis, Commissioning Executive, The Space

Photographers around the world can participate in the contest by submitting their 5 to 10 images based on the theme ' Meaningful Places' on or before February 7, 2017. The selected entries and the award winning images will be exhibited at Somerset House, London from April 21 - May 7, 2017 during the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition.

The winner of the contest will be awarded €12,000 worth of ZEISS lenses, €3,000 travel expenses to complete a dream photography project in the location of their choice plus a trip to London to attend the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards ceremony to recieve their prize.
