Way back in 2004,13 years ago,when the entertainment giant Turner International launched its only-for-the-kids' brand - the pogo network, it's only aim is to be the top children's channel in the country. Pogo offered a bit of everything like comedy,art,animation,games,live content and curiosity shows.Any popular brand needs to spiff up on a regular basis.Krishna Desai,Turner International's executive director and network head, kids, says,“The whole exercise was a channel refresh, rather than a channel rebranding”.
London based creative agency Art&Craft was given the task of embellishing the brand without denying its originality. Finally the logo was redesigned by updating the letter forms,giving them perfect circles as their centers and adding colours to feel modern and vibrant. With this,bringing in a series of 3D assets,animation and idents with music conceived by sound designer Dave Meckin, the logo became playful bouncing balls, moving around the screen. The bold visual language and OSP in place, pogo is on track to reach Indian market as per its original plans.
