Be there! Corfu Animation Festival calling for entries - Dec 21 2016

The sixth edition of 'Be There!' Corfu Animation Festival is all set to happen from 29 March 2017 - 2 April 2017 and they are calling for entries to be submitted before December 21st 2016. The animation film festival welcomes all directors to submit their short films or feature film which does not exceed more than 40 minutes in length. Students and professionals can submit their entries separately and they will be judged separately. There are no submission fees and you can submit in more than one category. In this festival you have four categories:

1. Short films (up to 40')
2. Short films for children (up to 40')
3. Student/Graduation films
4. Feature films: films over 40 minutes of length

According to Corfu, "Be there! Corfu Animation Festival aims to promote an international and creative animation event that will be the meeting point of respective animation artists. It encourages collaboration and the communication of ideas, while at the same time acts as a cultural and educational vehicle for spectators of all ages. It is organized by Animate Corfu NGO, and invites in its competitive programmes works with a substantial amount of frame by frame animation film (made for cinema, TV or the Internet)".

Audience award: The festival organizers will organize an audience vote during the festival, in order to confer an audience award for the single best film in both short & graduation competitive programmes.
