Capture Photography Festival invites Public Art Installations for Kind Edward Canada Line Station

Art Installation: Winning entries for the Public Art Installation for the Kind Edward Canada Line Station will receive $500 as prize money and the installation will be displayed for 6 months. The winning pictures will be installed in the exterior of the King Edward Canada Line Station during Capture Photography Festival in April 2018. The contest submission pages will open on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 and the deadline is Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 5 PM. It can be a single image or a set of photographic images. Creativity is the brain here, since there is no set theme for the contest. Photographers from around the world are invited to participate in this contest. Submission fees are $25.

"All entries will be reviewed by a jury of three photography and fine arts professionals to identify a shortlist. This list will be announced on or around January 15, 2018, and the shortlisted images will be posted on the Georgia Straight’s website for public voting. The winner will be announced in February 2018", according to Capture Photography.
